Bio
Joe Conner, is a multi-talented musician & entrepreneur hailing from
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After being awarded a scholarship to
attend The Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, he became a highly
sought out Music Business student on the campus and began managing
backing bands he played in as well as others that have worked with a
long list of esteemed artist that include Jordan Knight, Meshell
Ndegeocello, Bilal & Jessie J. This role quickly expanded into Artist
Management which was the catalyst to him starting his own company as a
junior in College, to be named JC Management, affectionately known as
JCM. Joe went on to graduate from Berklee, Cum Laude, with a degree in
Music Business & Management in 2011. Since then he's opened a new
division of the company, ‘JCM Musicians’ which specializes in Live
Music Production & Musician Staffing. Providing supreme musicianship
from extraordinarily talented musicians from all over the country. JCM
Musicians now has a roster of over 50 musicians that have worked with
some of the biggest names in music that include Nicki Minaj, Toni
Braxton, Babyface, BeBe Rexha & Big Sean just to name a few.
As a drummer himself, Joe has gone on to compile an impressive resume
that includes the likes of rapper Problem, Van Jess, Mickey Factz,
EDM group The Rhythm Monks, JoJo, Diamante, Sammy Adams, American Idol
Finalist John Stevens and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. You can
also catch him playing in the music video for "Going Going Gone" by
American Idol winner Maddie Poppe, "Want to Want Me" by Jason Derulo,
and for the feature track of Disney's Cars 3 movie, "Ride" by ZZ Ward
feat. Gary Clark Jr. Joe's recorded work spans across many genres from
cutting records for R&B group Manatragold to landing on the Top 40
Billboard Charts with Rock Band, OTHERWISE, With placements landing in
shows such as Netflix' Queer Eye, The Travel Channels' 'Food
Paradise", “The Oath” produced by Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson, as well as
in national commercials and marketing campaigns.
Joe's musical prowess has led to him touring the world in multiple
genres, as well as securing him endorsements from some of the most
sought after brands in the drumming community including Evans
Drumheads, Sabian Cymbals, Vater Drumsticks, Ddrum and JH Audio.
Upon his move to Los Angeles, Joe had taken to industry titan Adam
Anders which lead to his hiring as A&R at Adam's label Deep Well
Records, formerly of Capitol Records, as well as his work in Film & TV
under Anders Media where he worked on projects such as GLEE, Perfect
Harmony, American Horror Story, The Passion Live! on Fox and The Prom
on Netflix. Joe's most recent endeavor is with The American Red Cross,
where he is a part of the Celebrity & Entertainment Engagement team
that heads all national activations in connection with the
entertainment world, where he feels he can use his gifts for the
betterment of the world in a more tangible and effective way.
